Watermark guide
What is a Gemini watermark?
A Gemini watermark is the small sparkle mark near the lower-right corner of Gemini or Nano Banana exports.

Wrong slot: texture crosses the mark, so smooth repair may flatten it. Use standard cleanup.
Slide to see the difference in the lower-right corner.

Use the untouched export
Run cleanup before cropping, resizing, messaging-app forwards, or JPG/WebP conversion.
Check the result visually
The slider makes edge artifacts easier to spot before you download the cleaned PNG.
Keep the scope narrow
This targets the visible Gemini image mark, not SynthID, metadata, videos, or stock-photo watermarks.
Optional fallback
Faint outline on a smooth background?
Standard cleanup always runs first. If the visible mark sits entirely on a light, low-texture area, enable Smooth-background repair.
Start at 75%. Use 65% for a lighter blend or 85% for a stronger blend.
Keep it off when text, skin, edges, patterns, or fine detail cross the mark. If the surrounding sample fails the detail or transparency check, the tool keeps the standard result. Higher strength can flatten background texture.
Synthetic hard-case test · standard cleanup leaves a faint outline; the 75% repair reduces it.

How to remove a Gemini watermark
- 1. Save the PNG. Use the original image exported from Gemini or Nano Banana.
- 2. Upload it here. Click Remove Watermark and keep the browser tab open while it processes.
- 3. Inspect and download. Compare before and after, then download the cleaned PNG.
What it does not do
Only: visible Gemini or Nano Banana image marks. Not: SynthID, metadata, video watermarks, or stock-photo marks.
Technical deep dive
Why the original PNG matters
The tool restores mixed pixels from a fixed transparent overlay. Compression, screenshots, resizing, and color edits change those pixels, so the original PNG works best.

Is this Gemini watermark remover free?
Yes. AuraTuner currently offers this Gemini watermark remover with no login and no credits required. Use the original Gemini PNG export for the best cleanup, then download the result as a PNG.
Do I need an account to use the tool?
No. You do not need to sign in; signed-in and anonymous use are both supported.
Can I use it as a Gemini logo remover?
Yes. The tool is designed for the visible lower-right Gemini logo watermark on standard Gemini or Nano Banana image exports. It works best on the original PNG before resizing, cropping, or compression.
Is this a Gemini watermark remover online?
Yes. You can use it online without installing software. Some users search for this as a gem watermark remover, but the tool is built for the visible Gemini image watermark.
What should I do if a faint outline remains after removal?
Standard cleanup always runs first. If the visible mark sits entirely on a light, low-texture background, enable Smooth-background repair and start at 75%. Use 65% for a lighter blend or 85% for a stronger blend. Keep it off for text, skin, edges, patterns, or fine detail; the tool may skip when the automatic check detects detail or transparency. Higher strength can flatten background texture.
Why does it work better on some images than others?
The original Gemini PNG keeps the watermark pixels closest to the expected overlay. Screenshots, messenger forwards, JPG/WebP conversions, and edited copies can change those pixels before the tool sees them.
What images work best?
Original PNG exports from Gemini or Nano Banana with the standard visible mark work best. Treat cleanup as the first step before cropping, editing, or compressing the image.
Can I crop the image before using the tool?
No. We recommend against cropping beforehand. Any resizing or cropping fundamentally breaks the coordinate-based math our engine uses to identify and subtract the watermark signature.
Does this remove SynthID or provenance metadata?
No. This is visible watermark cleanup only. It does not remove SynthID, invisible provenance signals, metadata, or attribution systems embedded inside the image file.
